How do I get started?
To get started, please fill out the contact form, or simply e-mail Sara@youspeakstuttering.com to set up a time for a free 15-minute phone call to discuss therapy options and next steps.
Do you have evening or weekend availability?
Session times are subject to availability, evening times tend to be the most popular. Sessions occur Monday-Friday between 8am and 8pm. Teen and Adult groups are held on Sundays.
How long is a typical session?
Sessions are either 30 minutes or 50 minutes in duration. Options will be discussed during your consultation. Sunday groups are 90 minutes.
If I want to attend group, do I need a consultation?
Yes, even if you only plan to attend group, there is a required one-hour consultation.
Do you accept insurance?
YouSpeak does not accept insurance directly, however we can provide a detailed invoice upon request which may be submitted for reimbursement when applicable. We encourage all new clients to contact their insurance company directly to inquire about coverage, specifically for stuttering therapy.
How many sessions are needed?
We feel every person’s journey is unique and therefore the duration of therapy tends to vary significantly based on individual goals and hopes for change. Progress will be something that you and your therapist will regularly review.
What methods of Payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, cash, and checks. Payment is due the same day of service.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require 24-hour notice for any cancellations.
